Brief History

Newcastle Christian Fellowship is an Apostolic church in Newcastle, was started in July 2006 by 2 families in their houses every Saturday afternoon from 4pm-6pm. Koshy Uncle was leading the meetings.

Then few more families came and joined the fellowship, which resulted in moving onto a rental place in Killingworth, a town in Newcastle area. Later Pr Mathew C Varghese, was asked to take over the ministry, who used to travel from Durham to minister.

Because of his relocation back to India, the Pastoral ministry was taken over by Pr Renjit Ambanattu (Our Jesus Lives Ministries, UK), who was travelling from Sheffield.

But because of his inconvenience to travel from Sheffield, Pr Renjit gave the pastoral responsibility to one of his associates, Ps Johnson from Darlington. Pr Johnson has been pastoring the NCF church since March 2020.
